A friends teen fam member tried to commit s*icide recently and the first thing said was she only cut her wr*sts thats not a real attempt. I had to think about the thoughtsin my head in that moment. When I was that friends teen fam members age I was a cutter, still got the scars and to hear it be simply dismissed as it was "just her wrists" baffled me. She's in hospital for the next while but.. I hope they take it seriously because to hurt that deep... if your hurting please dont let it swllow you whole.. reach out to someone and if you know someone hurting like that don't judge or dismiss. You never know whats going on in someones heart and soul and what pain they might be enduring.

Vampfreaks is a hugbox: So I checked out vampfreaks.com what can I say its a fucking hugbox, there are like 3 people in total, and its so locked down its not fun. There is a couple things that make a site good, one is banter, a harmless bit of trolling, choas, a search tool to find people with same interests that are local, and DM's to slide into. Not for them reasons you pervs. Get your mind out of the gutter! From what I can tell its a lazy copy and paste template with some colours, a few logos slapped on and called a day. When people say they are looking a retro VF experience they are looking for a retro VF experence not half assed effort. I have seen projects where people have rebuilt long gone websites as they were in 90s, and early 2000s people are looking for that. This place is pretty shit also, but it allows for fundermentals mentioned, plus has that old school approtch of self moderation instead of having a site moderation team which kills communities today. While the UK is distracted by the welfare reform bill; three bills have gone unnoticed and are heading for the house of lords that truly do strip free expression and freedom of speech in the UK. People often knock Keir Starmer for being an idiot but my opinions have changed recently, he knows what he's doing, whipping up people in a frenzy so other bill can pass unnoticed is stroke of genius. They are in essense aimed at stripping free speech and expression futher: Third party offence bill: For instance if you are in a pub and a customer stays something that offends a customer or employee; you have to report it. I haven't got around to reading the other bills yet but they are very loose with definitions and open to abuse. In other news the Global Expression Report, (gauges free countries) has put the UK at 75% in the red! Canada and Australia having a higher score than UK; in the green which is distrubing if you have been following the news.
