Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex hacked for over $90 million by pro-Israel group

Nobitex, Iran’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, suffered a major hack this morning. Elliptic has so far identified over $90 million sent from Nobitex hot wallets to hacker addresses. It comes after anti-Iranian hacking group Gonjeshke Darande (“Predatory Shadow”) issued a warning claiming that they had conducted cyberattacks against Nobitex and pledged to publish its source code on 18 June. Nobitex’s website remains inaccessible at the time of writing.
