Got flooded like a mf after 20+ inches of rain 2 days before my birthday (on the only bday I made plans for) > cleaned up > dealing with insurance > hotel hopped > worked like a mf bc I'm a workaholic and can't take a day off even during disaster recovery > be emotional support for my mom > unwilling middleman between mom and contractor > house is finally livable and I can finally shower/sleep in my home > fuuuuuuuuck these past couple of weeks
