Viper, is an American rapper, record producer, actor and convicted criminal. He is regarded as one of the originators of cloud rap.

Viper began releasing music in 2003, originally under the name Lee Dogg. He released the album You'll Cowards Don't Even Smoke Crack in 2008; it gained popularity in 2013 and became an Internet meme.

Carter was arrested on January 4, 2024 and initially charged with kidnapping a woman in his garage; these charges were later dropped for sexual assault and fraud charges for which Carter plead guilty for in 2025. He is currently serving a 15 year sentence and will not be eligible for parole until 2031.
