Went to a fun party yesterday on my way back from Boston, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Pine Tree Riot. This occurred in April, 1772, in Weare, NH. To my knowledge, it was the first act of open rebellion against the Brits, and is said to be the inspiration for the folks later involved in the Boston Tea Party. Lots of good food and beer (free!), and cool swag for attendees.
