Looks like it's leak day for the government: 1/ A 2004 memo just surfaced showing Labour knew the potential fallout of mass immigration—and actively worked to downplay it. 2/ A leaked MI5 briefing reportedly warns the government to get its act together fast, as the UK is drifting into seriously dangerous territory.

The winter here has been milder than usual. Not so just northeast of here on Cape Breton Island (part of the province of Nova Scotia, in Canada). Reports of 150cm (almost 5 feet) of snow over the weekend in Sydney (biggest city on the island), with extreme drifting in parts. Yikes! The worst I've seen in this part of New Hampshire (southeastern bit) was about 130cm (~4 feet) over the coarse of a few days.
